The architectural case studies featured in the guides give examples of how the built environment interacts with each Goal. All cases are realized architectural projects, planning initiatives, structures and designs. In the case studies, each case is connected to one Goal. In reality, many of the cases address more than one goal. The purpose of the case studies is to form a basis of understanding of how architecture can contribute to achieving the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p>\n

The guides have been published in partnership with the Institute of Architecture and Technology at the Royal Danish Academy \u2013 Architecture, Design, Conservation, the Danish Association of Architects and the UIA Commission on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and they have been funded by The Dreyer Foundation.<\/p>\n

The case studies below are the Nordic cases from the first volume of the guidebook<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There is an abundance of already existing architectural solutions that work to further the realisation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
