This webinar supports three pillars of the Forum identified as Barriers; MISMATCH, POLICIES AND REGULATIONS and URBAN DESIGN. It ensures that the UIA Policy on Accessibility, Inclusion in the Built Environment is applied to the Affordable Housing Activation Forum agenda.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The speakers are all experts in the design of accessible and inclusive built environment. In order to ensure equal rights and comply with the UN Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, all housing must be future-proofed and designed for lifetime use. Accessible housing contributes to social sustainability, equity and inclusion in our built environment. The presentations will provide a snapshot of current work being carried out in Europe by members of the UIA Architecture for All Work Programme in relation to accessible housing.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
