- Urban design
The Consejo Superior de los Colegios de Arquitectos de España (CSCAE), as the driving force behind the UIA 2022 International Forum “Affordable Housing Activation: Removing Barriers”, announced today that Madrid Nuevo Norte, the most important urban regeneration project currently underway in Europe, has become a partner of the UIA 2022 International Forum.
Madrid Nuevo Norte thus joins the global debate on access to housing promoted by the UIA 2022 International Forum and will do so by promoting reflection on the urban, climatic, social, economic, technological, and environmental challenges that arise in the field of sustainable urban development.
In addition, as part of the agreement signed, the digital model of Madrid Nuevo Norte will be installed at the Gran Teatro Príncipe Pío (Madrid), where the in-person edition of the forum will be held from May 18 to 20. The model consists of a reproduction that combines digital technology, through two large format screens, and the physical, using a striking scale model of the project, to show through a careful audiovisual experience all the details of this unique action.
