Born in Madrid. Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He has several postgraduate degrees, including an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa, the Public Management Leadership Programme from IESE and the Leadership and Communication Programme from IESE-Harvard Business School.
He began his professional career as part of the Communications Office of the Presidency of the Community of Madrid, where he held the post for eight years (two legislatures). After his professional development in public management, he switched to the private sector, starting his activity as assistant to the Director of Communication at Caja Madrid. He held this position for a year before joining FCC, first as communications manager for the industrial area of the FCC Group and then as communications manager for the construction area of the FCC Group (the third largest construction company in Spain, fifteenth largest in Europe and thirty-third largest in the world).
He currently combines this position with the presidency of the Madrid World Capital of Construction, Engineering and Architecture Association. An entity promoted by the City Council of Madrid (constituted in 2020) and which currently has more than 140 members and leading collaborating entities in the sector (www.madridwcc.com).
He has extensive experience in the area of political and business communication as well as a wide knowledge of the development of international and national events.
