Co-creation in social housing

locus 3 credit David Pradel
May 17, 2022 - May 17, 2022 Presencial
Organizer: Institut Français d’Espagne; Commission des Architectes Français pour l’International

Can you imagine going into a restaurant where the menu is the same every day? Can you imagine dressing the same all the time, without having a choice? Can you imagine reading books without choosing them? Life wouldn’t be much fun, would it? But that is exactly what happens in social housing!

A house is allocated to a family. Full stop! And yet, each inhabitant has real expertise: each inhabitant is a professional in his or her housing! Aquitanis, a public social landlord, had this crazy idea: what if the future inhabitants participated in the design of their future home?
