Enrique Alfredo Bonilla Di Tolla

Director of the Architecture Department at the University of Lima and first prize at the XII National Architecture Biennial 2003

Architect and urban planner from the Ricardo Palma University. Doctor in Government and Public Policy, Universidad de San Martín de Porres. Master of Science with mention in Architecture, National University of Engineering. Specialisation course in Restoration of Monuments and Historical Centres at the CECTI in Florence, Italy.  

He is director of the Architecture Department at the University of Lima and teaches the Projects course and the History and Theory of Architecture course.  

He directed the publication Lima y el Callao. Guía de arquitectura y paisaje. He has been President of the IX Peruvian Architecture Biennial and President of the IV Ibero-American Architecture Biennial. Curator of the Peruvian Pavilion at the 13th. Biennale di architettura di Venezia (Italy).  

He has won several awards, including first prize at the XII National Architecture Biennial 2003, for the Ccori Wasi Cultural Centre, and the Silver Hexagon at the XV Peruvian Architecture Biennial for the best built work, for the Aulario 104 at the Ricardo Palma University. 

He has also been awarded the Order of the Sun by the Peruvian Association of Architects for his international career, and L’Ordine della Stella Italiana in grado di Cavalliere, awarded by the Italian State.
