Policies and regulations

Policy frameworks play a crucial role in developing the housing sector in general and affordable housing in particular. They provide the basis for the definition of plans and programs and the role of the actors involved in the housing production and access process, including public actors, private actors, and end-users. Monitoring and evaluating these policies is essential to improve current conditions, foster their sustainability over time, and build consensus among stakeholders.
